If group settings stress you out, our private lessons in Ghent are the calmer answer. One teacher, you, and the recipe.
How Private Lessons Run
You tell us your level (zero is fine). We adjust the pace and the recipe difficulty. Sessions are typically 90 minutes but can run longer if you want to cover more ground.
Available for one person, couples, or small groups up to 4 who want a more focused experience than a regular class.
What People Learn
Liege waffles, Brussels waffles, basic pastry, batter science, topping pairings, and a few traditional Belgian tips passed down from the older generation. We can also do gluten-free or plant-based on request.
The Story Behind It
A woman from Sint-Pieters came in shy because she'd never cooked, ever. We did three private lessons over a month. Now she runs a waffle brunch for her neighbours every other Sunday. True story.
