Why Families Love It

Kids actually get to do something with their hands instead of being told to be quiet. Parents get to sit, sip a coffee, and watch the chaos in a controlled environment. Everyone eats waffles at the end. Nobody loses a tantrum at a souvenir shop.

We've welcomed families with toddlers as young as 3 and grandparents in there 80s. The workshop is indoor, warm, and safe — no sharp tools, no hot surfaces little hands can reach.

Practical Stuff For Parents

Kids love to wear the cook's hats and sometimes personalize them with crayons! Strollers fit through the door no problem. Allergies? Tell us in advance and we'll sort something.

Looking for more family-friendly activities near Korenmarkt? After the workshop, walk five minutes to the Gravensteen castle or grab a boat tour on the Leie, right on our front door.

The Story Behind It

Last spring a dad from Rotterdam told us he'd dragged his three kids through every museum in town and nobody was speaking to each other anymore. Less than one hour later they were laughing, covered in flour, fighting over who got the last strawberry. That's what we do.
