What Students Actually Learn

What makes the Waffles cripsy, what makes them rise. The difference between Liege and Brussels waffles and what that says about regional identity in Belgium. A bit of medieval trade history — Ghent was one of the richest cities in Europe and waffles were street food back then.

Teachers tell us kids remember this lesson for years. Probably because they got to eat it.

Built For Groups

We can host school classes up to 30 students, split into smaller working stations of around 4 student per station, so everyone gets hands-on time. Private sessions run in English, French, Dutch and other languages on request.

Exchange Students welcome

A teacher from a school in Bruges first asked us back in the days if we'd run a session for her class. She wanted something that wasnt another monument visit. We said yes, and now we host school groups, language schools and university exchange students from across Europe in Ghent, Brussels and Bruges.
We also give a special discount to students and special prices for school groups.
